Favorite Educator Titles
If you are like me, you love to read books about learning, educating, and children. Or maybe you are a mom or educator who enjoys reading outside the industry. Whatever type of reader you are, I promise you will enjoy these reads as much as I did.
1. The first book is written by some of my favorite educators and humans, Hope and Wade King. If you have not read The Wild Card, you need to run to check it out, buy it, or rent it. This was such a fun and easy read. Not only that, but it is a book you can keep coming back to and reading multiple times. In this book, Hope and Wade break down the 7 steps to have a creative breakthrough. Educating can become a mundane task and this book helps you rediscover your passion and creativity when it comes to educating others.

2. The next book, called 8 Great Smarts for Homeschoolers: A Guide to Teaching Based on Your Child’s Unique Strengths, was written by Tina Hollenbeck. Whether you homeschool or teach in a brick-and-mortar or virtual school, this book provides helpful tips for reaching your learners. Each learner learns differently and has varying strengths, whether that is hands-on, music, visual, etc. This book breaks down the 8 great smarts and provides ways to reach those learners for various subjects. You can use this book to get to know your learners better and how they learn best, so you can find the tools and tips to help them reach their goals.

3. The last book I want to talk about is mostly for those homeschool parents or ones wanting to make the switch. The book is called The Call of The Wild And Free by Ainsley Arment. Not only has she written a variety of books, but she runs a podcast and a farm as well. This book really opened my eyes to a lot of things and made me change my views on homeschooling in a positive way. She breaks the book down into various sections that are easy to read. She provides testimonies, stories, tips, activities, resources, and more. This was an enjoyable read that I think everyone should read whether they are homeschooling or not. I believe it provides good tips and insights into being a great parent as well.
